* On January 16, 2008, NCTI filed a revised and updated application with the Connecticut Department of Public Health, Department of Emergency Medical Services for the approval to operate EMT-Paramedic training programs in the State of Connecticut.
* The Department of EMS is aware of NCTI's plan to begin its first EMT-Paramedic program in Waterbury in April 2008.
* Pending final approval, NCTI will begin offering EMT-Paramedic training in Waterbury, CT on or about April 21, 2008.
* Appropriate classroom facilities have been identified and tentatively arranged in partnership with Waterbury Hospital.
* Waterbury Hospital has expressed interest in providing physician medical direction and extensive clinical rotations to support this partnership program.
* Phase I: Didactic & Lab sessions would be scheduled for two days per week (Mon & Thur), spanning approximately 7 months (April 21, 2008 to November 14, 2008).
* Phase II: Hospital clinical rotations would be arranged at Waterbury Hospital and/or other licensed acute care hospitals in or around the surrounding area.
* Phase III: Field Internships lasting approximately 480-720 hours would be arranged on board AMR ambulances or other appropriate emergency response apparatus.
