Additional Information About NCTI - New York as of August 15, 2006:
* NCTI is currently researching authorization requirements and evaluating the level of interest/need for the establishment of an EMT-Basic training program in New York.
* Pending application, approval and authorization, NCTI would plan to start offering EMT-Basic training in New York in approximately January 2007.
* Appropriate classroom facilities have been identified at AMR's New York area headquarters in Flushing.
* Course schedule would be 2 evenings per week & Saturdays for 8-10 weeks
* Tuition cost is expected to be approximately $500
* Possibility of AMR Scholarship/Signing-Bonus Availability
- American Medical Response (AMR) employees, and eligibile candidates interested in committing to full-time employment with AMR may qualify for tuition scholarships or sign-on bonuses equal to the cost of tuition & books.
- Eligibility is determined solely by AMR. Candidates must be able to meet all pre-employment screening requirements in order to qualify.
