What are the requirements for EMT-Basic recertification in the State of Massachusetts?
EMT-Basics are required to complete 28 hours of comtinuing education, and successfuly complete a DOT approved 24 hour EMT-Basic Refresher every 2 years. For more information, please refer to the Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services website at www.mass.gov/dph/oems.
